I’m often asked if I possess autographed copies of E.S. Posthumus CDs.

As a matter of fact I do, and below is a snap of one of the albums in question.

Two years ago, a short time after Cartographer’s release, music website TrackSounds held a contest for readers to submit their questions for a future interview with Helmut Vonlichten. It didn’t take long to think of a decent question to send. Three winners were picked, and fortunately, I was one of them.

The prize was an autographed copy of the album signed by the Vonlichtens (disc two) and Luna Sans (disc one). CDs signed by the brothers are notoriously difficult to obtain because they are only made available for competitions.

I am fairly certain that there are only a few of these autographed Cartographer CDs out there, and they were likely to be the first batch of autographed CDs given to fans since the inception of ESP, which makes each one quite special.
