I am certain that the name change mentioned on the OSV interview took most readers by surprise.
For a year, we have known Deciphered as being the third mark to be etched in the E.S. Posthumus timeline. After being buried underground and then lost in the oceans of the Earth, we wanted to get back onto dry land to explore ancient sites and landmarks. Unfortunately, Helmut already has a profession of being an archaeologist and didn’t want us listeners to take that job away from him, so that’s why they changed the name. None of this is true.
Jokes aside, there is no denying that Deciphered was stuck in our minds as a beacon for the inevitable release. The sensation of time seems to be moving faster, but it feels like an eternity before you can grab hold of a new ESP album.
Now the question remains, what will it be called?
I asked that question in the previous article and I’m sure everyone else is wondering the same thing.
As of today, album three will now be known as Makara. The album will feature 15 tracks.
So when will the album be released?
This was another aspect of the album that I questioned in an earlier post. It’s okay when you have a rough idea of the release, though it is immensely better when you happen to know the exact date.
Mark your calendars for Tuesday the 2nd of February 2010. Just under a month to go!
