A couple of weeks after my previous (mostly speculative) post, I can now confirm that the third album has been pushed back to 2010, so don’t count on purchasing it as a present for whatever festive celebration you may partake in. Late January has been hinted, though I think the first quarter would be a safe bet.

If you think the album will continue being delayed again and again, there seems to be an end at sight; the Vonlichtens are working through the final stages of the new songs, therefore, the production phase should soon come to a conclusion. So when will the album be released?

The statements of a November or December release are in no means solid announcements. While similar things have happened to the Cartographer album, these time frames are approximations and need to be taken with a grain of salt, especially for music of this complexity.
